Lance, Amanda . Pencil . February 7, 2006
She was barefoot as they danced. Every inch the goddess, still the diva, but his childhood friend… his childhood love… was there too, teasing him with the past as they got lost in the moment.

She was close, moving against him, and it felt natural. She looked up into his eyes with that steady violet gaze and it was like she could read his mind. “When you look at me, can you see your future?”

His look was reproachful. “Don’t play with me, Amanda, I’m not one of your toys.”

“If I said I wasn’t playing?”

“…I wouldn’t believe you.”

I've been working on this since January 1st... and I'm going to stop now simply because I was starting to hurt it. I'll leave off the usual and simply say it's my favorite Amanda in forever.
