bio: Danny's on his own and has been since he turned 18.
His parents were really too old for kids when they had him...and definitely too old for more children when they had their second child. In the end, they decided to give up their newborn daughter, so that she could have a better life, and they moved back to what they considered their homeland overseas.
Upon Danny's 18th birthday, Danny's parents charged him with renewing family ties. He had done what he could for them and now they felt that there was family left that needed him more. Armed with what information they could provide him, Danny left his parents and made his way back to the states.
His search brought him back to Oceanview where he got an apartment and renewed childhood acquaintances.
Danny is a dedicated worker, never shirking duty or complaining about what needs to be done. He finds joy in manual labor and prefers working with his hands. To keep up with the cost of living and expenses, he works various jobs - most notably unloading ships at the docks & as a bouncer at one of the hotter clubs - and doesn't have a lot of time to just hang out. Even so, he's always there when his friends need him, and as the older, more worldly and experienced member of the group he often steps up into a more paternal and protective role. Not that he minds at all.

A kind of black hole for energy, Danny needs an outside source in order to keep up with his body's demands on a constant basis.
He isn't be able to release or redirect energy, but energy Danny takes in excess to that which his body needs gets utilized in the form of adrenalyn. Not happyhappyhyper adrenalyn, but the kind of fight or flight crisis-induced adrenalyn that clarifies thinking, gives freakish strength, and numbs pain recognition, among other things.
Danny, with extra power, is The Fighting Machine for as long as it lasts him.
Danny has taken to strength training and weight lifting to better prepare his body for the after effects (trauma) of his power use. No one's body is built for prolongued feats like that... but with strength and stamina training damage can be mitigated both in use and possible abuse (torn muscles/ligaments/etc.).
