bang

No one ever noticed Ty. As different as he was, he always blended into the background… it had more to do with attitude than appearance. The skill was developed of desperation, but it came in handy at times like this. Times when he wanted to skulk in the shadows.

They’d told him things he didn’t want to believe. He’d tried to dismiss the talk as lies, but there was that niggling doubt. He had to know. So he followed. And what he’d seen wasn’t good. No, not at all.

Yes, there could be an explanation… but better safe than sorry.

Take a character that teeters on the line that separates your protagonists from your antagonists. What would it take to push them to one side or the other and what sort of conflict would that cause (or benefit would that bring) to the rest of your characters? Answer, then drabble.
Answer: I thought about this one a lot, and I really just don't have many/any characters who could be pushed in a direction other than the one they're going. They've been tried and chosen. That said, I guess the one most likely to flip would really be Ty. I know, right, but no... not Star. Ty's a little unstable and overlooked and it could very well just take some attention from the wrong person, or lack of attention from the right person.
I don't think it would do much to a lot of the group as Ty's so very fringe... it'd blow Star's mind, though.
