Lance knew he was overexposed. Simply searching online or checking the latest tabloid would show how out there he was. It was funny how that worked, really. Overexposure. The powers that be decided he was hot stuff, and so they plastered him everywhere until people were so sick of him it burned. Until backlash occurred.

As if it was his doing. As if he was the one intentionally saturating them with details he’d rather not be public. They very likely hated him for his inability to keep secrets from them.

If only they knew. But then, wasn’t that the problem?
