Star glanced around his club. On one hand, business was booming and there was nothing remotely bad about that… on the other hand, he wondered what he’d been smoking when he’d decided on this venue.

It was his favorite place in the world, and it was also his worst nightmare. It was a daily test of will and his faith in himself, his instincts and his luck, to casually accept these strangers in his space. But it added to his legend… because his gaze was steady and his air was unconcerned as he nodded his respect and made the rounds.

Write a 100 to 200 word snippet, putting your character in an environment where they are meeting someone for the first time or an environment where they have no privacy to be completely themselves. If your character is outgoing but keeps their personal problems to themselves, this would probably be a snippet about their everyday life. If your character is antisocial to a fault this would probably be... a very interesting snippet if you stick them in a club or in public period.
