Where'd we go for the last year? City of Heroes ate our brains. No, really. Stole our characters, too.
Though Noah and Link don't know each other overly well in the character universe, over at CoH they are very well aquainted. Way back in the day (that'd be 9 or so months ago) Link was a really gimped scrapper and Noah was a really gimped Tanker... and Cara and I got the bright idea to team them up to level them to 24 where we could hopefully complete the special respecification task force and get to repick our powers. Turns out that by the time they got to 24 (from 18) they no longer needed the respec. Now, despite a late and slow start, they're the second highest characters either of us have in the game... and the fastest levelers - the "damage experts". Link is level 44 right this second, and doesn't even have his first debt badge for deaths yet. They fly, they rock, and anyone teamed with them can consider themselves power gamed, if not power leveled.
Random facts: Noah's dressed in his first outfit, Link's dressed in his 3rd. Cara drew this picture before Link even had sharp throwy things, but now he does - shuriken, his lvl 44 epic pool power. And Last Bastion is actually our group's SuperGroup on the Guardian Server, Last Bastion Elite is the fictional branch on Triumph... that would exist if all the characters weren't already in Mel's Guns and Coffee SG (on City of Villains there is Last Bastion Standing on Guardian and Last Bastion of Misfits on Triumph). Oh, and this was my birthday present from Cara, too ^____^
