Well, Rey knew I was wanting more of the characters done... so he offered me an art trade. Yay! So for his character Puff, I got Alora.
As always, Rey blows me away with the detailing and his ability to climb in my head and see my characters. He always seems to totally understand their personalities and capture them in a way not many people can manage, let alone in 3/4 body pictures. So talented ^_^ Anyway, yes! I love the pose, I love the eyes, I love the french tipped fingernails, I love the intelligence and confidence in her beautiful face, Rey's method of coloring hair is still amazing and works really really well for her layers and I love the way he fit the PK charm in even without a belt because it's such a pretty little charm. But I think this time I am most blown away by that shirt. The detailing is insane, it really makes the shirt but it's still insane ^_~ And the design! I love how Rey can use what I draw as a guide, rather than just drawing the characters in what I draw. It's perfect. There's a bit of sex appeal that's just this side of too risque, it looks expensive and classy, paired with that skirt it's not "business" but it definitely reflects someone who's used to dressing up in that way... and it does also fit in with the flowy/peasantish blouse/fantasy bent I have with her. That there? That's an impressive list to fill... and such a beautiful shirt besides <3
